Mom and Baby Yoga begins with our supportive Opening Circle to share, connect, and learn from and with other new parents.
Our postnatal classes offer a mix of strengthening and restorative movements purposefully designed with mom as the local (focal, not local) point. Each class includes a strong focus on relieving the common discomforts in the new mama body as well as core and pelvic floor recovery.
We will include the babies through class. Poses done with baby allow plenty of opportunity for bonding and connecting along the way. This class will give moms the opportunity to take care of themselves while enjoying the company of their little one and other new parents.
During class, babies will laugh and cry, fuss and fidget. Normal and perfectly fine! If baby needs to be fed or changed during class, no problem! You will notice during class that every baby will do the same! Simply stop and attend to your baby’s needs at any point and rejoin the practice when you are able to.
This class is best suited to babies aged 6 weeks to actively crawling.
